Here's How to Fill In Your Case Information Statement

How to Use Secure Web Interview and Forms Transfer ("SWIFT")

1. You must already be a client to use this service.  Call (732) 906-6600.  THIS SERVICE WILL SAVE YOU MONEY ON LEGAL FEES.

2. Print this web page!  Read all instructions before you start.  This process will take at least one hour (but you can do it in shorter multiple sessions if you wish) and you will need to have your personal papers on hand.  Gather as many bills as you can find.  Look through the entire form before you start.  Please be accurate!

3. Click here to get started: www.legalplus.com/Forms/NJInput.htm

3. Use this e-mail address: friedlawyer@aol.com on the form  as the Attorney’s E-mail Address

4. Optional Password:(I'd prefer you leave this blank)

5. Follow the instructions on the screen. Don't worry about filling in particulars about my office address, phone number, etc.  Skip those lines.  Fill in everything else.

6.  Always remember that all expenses are monthly.  So, annual expenses are divided by 12.  Weekly expenses are multiplied by 4.3

7. If you run out of time, submit everything you've done to that point.  Every line you fill in will save me time and save you legal fees.

8. Important: Click Submit when done.  Don't submit twice!

9. Inform Richard F. Fried that you have finished filling out the form by calling (732) 906-6600 Ext. 201or by writing to
sendinfo@friedlawyer.com.

ENTER ONLY THE INFORMATION YOU KNOW

10. Remember: any information you type will be helpful.  The information you type will be merged with existing information acquired during previous visits to my office.

11. The data entry program only asks for information, and doesn't do calculations.  The calculations are done by your attorney.

12.  If you want to submit your data in several sessions, make sure you don't submit a second time until you confirm with our office that your earlier submission has been processed.  Multiple submissions will overwrite eachother, thus deleting all your hard work!

How Secure is SWIFT?

Information is ALWAYS stored in a password protected encrypted format on a protected website designed specifically to allow you and me to safely exchange data.  You have a secure private lock box on this encrypted web site.  It is actually much safer to exchange data using SWIFT than email!  That’s because with SWIFT, information is ALWAYS encrypted (Did you know the email you’ve been sending all this time isn’t encrypted?).  Using SWIFT is a better way to exchange data.

More on Security

Did you know that when you access any web site using a browser, the web page that is displayed is actually a COPY of the real web site’s web page?  THIS COPY IS ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY PLACED INTO YOUR LOCAL COMPUTER.  While entering data on that page, you are simply typing information on the screen of your very own computer.  Nothing is “sent” to the Internet until you click Submit.  Because all forms are copied to the local computer, any keystrokes that you make while on the form REMAIN ON THE LOCAL COMPUTER until you press the Submit button.  As soon as you click Submit, SWIFT immediately encrypts the information.  With SWIFT, your information is always private and encrypted.  It is much more secure than regular e-mail.

Final Notes

Once you've entered the information, call me to let me know you're done.  I only have a certain number of days to retrieve your material.  Call (732) 906-6600 Extension 201, or email me at
sendinfo@friedlawyer.com

Remember--you must already be a client to make use of this service.  To become a client if you are not one already, simply call (732) 906-6600 Extension 201.  You can call 24 hours a day.

Thank you for using this service.  Techno-savy consumers can save money using this internet service.
